Well I finally finished a new layout for the blog. Still very similar to the old one, but at the same time a little new. (Nice lookin’ mug shot of me up there, eh?) Some better fonts, spacing, colors, etc.? It also gives me a spot at the top to post various quotes that fancy me.
Changing things has sure given me a good lesson in simple PHP and CSS. Very powerful stuff, but it definitely takes some getting used to. And the multiple browser thing is always a pain, but it is a lot better today than it was 5 years ago. And let me plug Firefox right now. The DOM inspector tool that comes with Firefox is a lifesaver. Makes the identification of what CSS blocks are where very simple. Long live Firefox. If you don’t have it, get it.
